Last Friday night, I received an email about Coles’ offer of triple Flybuys points and free home delivery (subject to terms and conditions). If you have flybuys card, you’ll accumulate points that can be converted to rewards, for every purchase from Coles, Liquorland, Kmart, etc. We gave it a try ’cause why not? Less hassle. No need to go outside the house and spend the time outside picking stuff and less risk of catching COVID-19 virus.
Just this Sunday night, after creating an online account and linking my Flybuys card, I browsed half price stuff, added to cart, and paid the total amount. We selected the time slot for Tuesday afternoon as Monday slot was fully booked.
On the day of delivery, they sent me two SMS. The first one is a reminder about the schedule and the second was an update of of the estimated time of arrival. The delivery truck was on time. The drivers were respectful like the locals here. 🙂 We were charged 0.15 AUD per piece of bag since bag less service is not available in our area. The good thing is each bag is made of 80% recycled material and reusable.
On my second delivery (which is still within the free delivery week), they gave a sample of chips. Thanks, Coles!
